Open access monographs ––for free

On Sarah Bond’s blog ‘History from Below‘ her latest article is on monographs in classics, ancient history, art history, and archaeology available for free: “In Libris Libertas: Open Access Monographs in Classics, Ancient History, Art History, and Archaeology.”

The list of Sarah’s “go-to sites for OA, which I would hasten to note is not only a movement, but also an ideology” is available here.
One book I will be taking a closer look at is Ann Bergren’s 2008 book Weaving Truth: Essays on Language and the Female in Greek Thought. Hellenic Studies Series 19. (Washington, DC: Center for Hellenic Studies) available on the Center for Hellenistic Studies site at Harvard.
